So, here I am...
23 Nov 2008 - Another Quiet Sunday
It's Sunday arov and the only sounds I can hear are the tap of this keyboard and the TV showing the Narnia movie. The little guy is watching on his own, but every now and then comes in to visit me. I am sucking on his lollypop, orange flvoured. He gave up about half way through. It's been a quiet day so far. In the morning we all went out to church for the morning service as well as the Sunday school lesson. The kids all learnt about Jesus being born and we talked about what the real gospel message is. Lots of excellent discussion. My daughter wasn't at the service. She's gone away with a couple of her girlfriends down to Rockingham. We took the old guy who lives around the corner with us.

Once we came home and had lunch I put the boys down for a nap. I drove down to some craft fair at the showgrounds. I bought some small garnet beads for a project I'm working on. The Burfitt tool lady replaced by bent nosed pliers for me, too. She's asked me to post the bent ones to her. Pretty trusting of her, but I will get that done next week, just so it's out of the way. I took a quick look around, but didn't see anything else of interest. The rain came down just as I arrived, but thankfully on the way out the wind had blown everything dry.

The boys were still asleep when I got back in so I made a coffee and came online. I've just been hanging out, checking emails, messages from forums and leaving feedback at ebay. I like the quiet time I usually have on a Sunday arvo.

Hubby has been doing ok. His back is still bothering him, a lot. He's been given some new pills for stress, but we don't think they're agreeing with him. So far he just feels like being sick almost all the time. He goes through quite a range of emotions, which feel out of his control. The moodiness seems to have settled down, but not the nausea. He's almost not eating at all. Nearly everything makes him feel like being sick. On Tuesday he will have been taking them for two weeks. He's going to see the doctor again this week if the yucky feeling doesn't go. Otherwise he's been quite attentive and very loving lately. He keeps telling me how much he appreciates me, which I suppose I need to hear.

On Wednesday I take the little guy into open day at the kindy he'll be attending next year. He is really excited about going. He's growing and learning at an alarming rate. He's quite tall for his age and because of his easy way of talking with others people often think he's older than he is. There's a book I pick up from the library quite often, which he has always loved. He reads it from memory whenever he gets a chance. It's so funny to watch him reading aloud and turning the pages. He always licks his finger to turn the page, as if it's required. The book is called Looking for a Moose. I can't think who the author or illustrator is right now. Oh, here: Phyllis Root & Randy Cecil. I highly recommend the book for little kids everywhere.

Anyway, I suppose I will leave this here for now. I apologise for any spelling errors, but I've written this in the window online.
